Fine Arts Night

4.28.11. Messmer High School was all abuzz tonight with artistic creativity and performances. The annual Fine Arts Night give all the Messmer Schools a chance to celebrate the fine and performing arts. Student talent was showcased through vocal and instrumental performances, and paintings, drawings, sculptures, and ceramics were displayed for families and fellow students to admire.
Refreshments were served and a good time was had by all! Members of the high school drama classes got into the act by creating a commercial promoting the event that was shown at all the Messmer schools. The commercial was created under the direction of Student Teacher Ms. Charise Dawson. Enjoy photos of the event at left and stay tuned for the commercial!

NHS-The Best of the Best

4/27/11. Twenty-four Messmer High School students were inducted into the National Honor Society tonight, the largest number in at least 4 years. This speaks volumes about the quality of students currently enrolled at our school.
According to Guidance Counselor and NHS Advisor Mr. Ken Klatkiewicz, "The thirteen existing NHS members have shown a great amount of dedication to both their studies and their community, on their own and through projects offered by Messmer." All thirty-seven students truly embody the NHS high standards of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character. Congratulations to all!
